Lake Erie Walleye Fishing Report 8.10.20

Good morning fellow fisherman! Here is our latest report on Lake Erie walleye:
This past week has been a week of change. The cold front that came across at the beginning of the week changed the water temp by 10 degrees. The good news is that the fish moved closer to shore to stay in the warm water.

Fish 5-9 miles out of Lorain harbor. Cranks have been king this week. Dipseys are catching a few but are also
catching lots and lots of trash. Run Deep Bandits and Spros 120-150 back unassisted and also with 2 ounces 20 ft in front.
Speed 2.4 – 2.9 mph. You should have your limit within a couple hours.

August can be and usually is a transition month with water temp and fish moving a bunch . Stay positive and keep on them. You will catch! You just have to stay open minded and keep rolling. Good luck when you get out.
