We were still fishing ne of Geneva in 73/74 ft of water. Program remains the same 100 to 120 on #3 tadpoles. 100 to 130 on inlines. Dipseys 100 to 120 on a 3.5 and 60 to 85 on a 1. Colors pink, gold, antifreeze, and coppers. Speed 1.7
One thing I wanted to point out the new #3 tadpoles are really working well I liked them especially yesterday in rough conditions and the fish were definitely neutral to negative. It allows that harness to stay right in there face longer. Pics on my fb page on website. Good luck and fish strong. BD

Today we were done by 9:45 with 24 real nice size fish. Used dipseys 3 oz inlines and the new #3 tadpoles. We got to try these out this weekend and they work awesome especially in rough water. Definitely by some when you see them at your tackle shops. Everything targeting 40 to 60ft. Pink back gold back and antifreeze backs did the best. Also congrats to Brett and Joe on winning. Critter who got 2nd for there first tournament ever. Sammy and crew for getting 3rd and for everyone else that cashed a check. Pictures will be posted on my website and facebook- fishing charters blue dolphin. Good luck when you get out! BD

Fishing mainly 70 to 72 ft of water using my lowrance at 35 mph to find smelt once you find the smelt you will find the fish.
Using 3 ounce 55 to 120 back with pink back silver streaks and bob bells blades. Speed 1.5 to 1.7.
People keep me asking me for spots and honestly there is none these fish are moving so fast its nuts you could go through a school of fish and go back through a half hour later and there gone. That’s why your electronics are so important.
Can’t get to much more specific on program with the big tourney out of geneva this weekend but will post next week after the tourney on how its going down on mother erie. Pics on my fb page at fishing charters blue dolphin or my website listed below. Fish strong. BD

We went into this tourney know we were going to have to cover a lot of water from the islands to Sheffield using are Lowrance electronics to find big fish migrating east. So we fished just east of kellys to Sheffield and from south to north in the same area. Prefishing was tough for us the really only thing we really knew for sure is that the big fish were deeper. Papa and Jason on the last day of prefish in the afternoon found a big school of migrating fish just west of the lorain dump gorging on smelt shad and perch
Day one we headed there boy was it rough and man was I glad we were in a StarCraft 2050 Stx with smooth move ultras. I looked at Nicholas and said this is Starcraft water.
We ended up with a sweet bag of 43.6 lbs for day one and 41.7 on day 2 for are first major win against the best of the best.
Program for us was 3 ouncers 45 to 65 and dipseys 45 to 70 on a 3.5
Colors were pink panties chart and pink back and Bob bells cranberry crusher pink back speed 1.1 to 1.3
Special thanks to Steve Carlson and Dan palmer for putting on a great show. My teammates papa Jason, Kolb, uncle Paul, Joe and Brett. Also great job on your finishes as well. To all of are sponsors. Starcraft, Mercury, Cisco,Lowrance, Worldwide Marine Insurance, Vics Sportcenter, Offshore Tackle, North Coast Custom Rods, Silver Streak, JT Custom Tackle, Pro Cure, Rapala, Maxima, Rodmakers shop, Erie Outfitters, Big Papa Sports, with out you guys we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Saturday afternoons trip ken wanted a walleye hanger and on his last fish he pulled a 30 inch monster. Drove from Arkansas to get that he was on cloud nine.
Had a great time with all my customers this weekend.
I can’t go into to many specifics on how this time because Nicholas and I have the lewt championship this weekend. But I can tell you that. There’s a high fish school and a low fish school and both are active. Speed was critical most of all fish came on the fast side this weekend. Color was super important so keep changing up till you find the right combo. Pics to come this afternoon on fb and website. Fish strong. BD
